FAQ

Here are some of the frequently asked questions. Hopefully you find what you are looking for but if you don’t please feel free to contact us with any other queries.

01 How high is the course?

The highest part of our ropes course is 30ft but there are activities at a multitude of heights leading up to the top. So even if you don’t fancy going all the way to the top there is plenty you can do in-between.

02 Is it safe?

Yes. We wouldn’t let you do it if it wasn’t. When going up high you will always be tied in with a rope that leads to a belay device called a GriGri. This device, with help from the belayer is what stops you if you were to fall. All belayers are monitored and equipment in inspected.

03 Where can I park?

When you arrive at Brooklands College you need to follow the main drive for around 200m till you reach the security hut. Parking is the first left outside the sports hall. Its then a 50m walk through the trees to the adventure ropes course.

04 What should I wear?

First of all our course is outside so its always best to check the weather and dress appropriately. You want to have suitable sturdy trainers (no open toed shoes) and we suggest your legs and shoulders are covered.

05 What if I don't like heights?

This is not a problem. We are there to make sure you all have a good time and we understand that some people don’t like the high stuff. There is plenty of other activities where you can keep your feet firmly on the ground such as belaying and building the crates towers. The if you feel like we can help you conquer your fears by going on the low ropes course (only 2foot off the ground) the progress to climbing and the crates where you can go to as high as you want!

06 What if its raining?

The adventure ropes is outside and we are aware that the weather plays a big part. If you feel that the weather forecast will be bad weather for your session then please contact us 24hrs before so that we can try and rearrange or sort out an alternative. If on the day the weather becomes server then we do have an inside alternative which can be provided.
